Ben’s music has seen many usages on global blockbuster trailers, NFL promos, UFC promos, NBA live games. He writes music under his artist name Black Hydra with co composer James Murray.

His work on the Spiderman No Way Home trailer earned a place in the Guiness World Records as “Most Viewed Trailer In 24 Hours”. The trailer was also nominated for a GTA award for best original score (composed by Ben Hayden and James Murray).

Ben started his music career as a guitarist/songwriter, studying at LCCM in London, and after attaining his degree, began seeking work. He then took up writing music for short films and production music libraries. His trailer world opened up to him when he was asked to work on custom briefs and write trailer albums for libraries. Progressing from there, he has composed music for numerous blockbuster trailers including The Flash, Avatar 2, Super Mario, Spiderman No Way Home and Creed III to name a few.
